Dipl.-Ing. Heinrich Seul (59), is a German engineering personality with 30 years of passion for environmental protection inside more than 248 success projects in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. In Bangkok since 2002 he is co-founder, President and CEO of CBE Thailand Co., Ltd. an engineering consulting firm specialized on waste-to-clean-energy, recycling and waste pollution control. He advises on project preparation, adaptive plant design and finance. Heinrich has worked for the largest waste plant engineering firm in Europe, Hitachi Zosen and ThyssenKrupp. His clients include power developers and agencies in Shanghai, Bangkok, Jakarta, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Manila. Course Overview
This is a 1-day programme specially designed for participants who handle chemicals or oil and responsible for chemical management at the workplace. The programme is aimed at helping participants understand the chemical spillage emergency situation at the workplace, identify chemical hazards, handle chemicals appropriately and manage the chemical workplace safely. In addition, participants will learn about chemical waste disposal, principles of emergency response and basic first aid during chemical spillage incidents.

Trainer Experience
The trainer started his career in commissioning and set up plan operations focusing on  chemical/chemistry  of the plant as well as performance of boiler chemistry and waste treatment  plant. 14 years experiences in  Power Generation business with a few years experiences in commissioning and start up of Heat Recovery  Steam Generator ( Combined Cycle Power Plant ) focusing on Water treatment  ( UPCORE) plant, Boiler  Chemistry, Electrochlorination plant,  Hazardous Waste Management and Process Safety related to Power  Generation using Natural  gas from Petronas. 

More than 10 years HSE experience in Upstream Oil and Gas  industry supporting offshore drilling,  productions and logistics operations, including Supply base management, land transport,  marine and aviation safety. More than 20 years in managing chemicals and  hazardous waste in the industries. More than5 years  involving in HSE training and consultancy.

David Smith is a Director of IMS Risk Solutions Ltd. He chairedthe ISO Committee PC 283 occupational health and safety (OH&S) man- agement systems standard ISO 45001. Prior to that he chaired the BSI committee on occupational health and safety management for 20 years and is a member of CEN SABOSH the European strategic body on OH&S. He worked for over 30 years for British Railways in a technical capacity as a troubleshooter dealing with health, safety, fire, winterization, forensic and environmental management issues.For the last 20 years he has worked all over the world as a trainer, auditor and consul- tant in the risk management field. He has been involved in drafting a range of risk management standards and has worked with organizations that have implemented such standards as ISO 31000, OHSAS 18001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. He is the author or co-author of a number of books in the risk management field.


Course Overview
This course is intended for those who are adopting or have adopted ISO 45001 and are required to develop pro- cesses for identifying risks & opportunities. This has a much wider scope than what is nor- mally addressed by OHS man- agers who are typically required just to focus on the control of hazards. It necessitates the identification of improvements to the system. Delegates will explore the significant issue of risk management including the typical hazard identification, risk assessment and application of control for specific hazards and also business risk management. The workshop is aimed at showing what is required and guiding dele- gates in identifying and devel- oping risk opportunities and the wider benefits of this approach.

This course is intended build upon prior learning to enable delegates to undertake the role of ISO 45001 auditor, providing the following additional knowledge and skills:
  • Planning an ISO 45001 internal audit
  • Auditing for conformity with ISO 45001
  • Identifying and recording non-conformities against ISO 45001
  • Reporting findings of audits compared with ISO 45001

​The programme is designed for those who wish to organize, conduct or lead a team of auditors to conduct first, second and third party audits to ISO 45001. Attendees should have a basic understanding of occupational health and safety and will find possession of an outline knowledge of OHSAS 18001 or ISO 45001 helpful.
